Faculty
COSMOS instructors are drawn from the rich and diverse pool of scientists and researchers throughout the UC Santa Cruz community. Instructors are chosen for their knowledge and aptitude in their fields, and strong desire to enhance the educational experience of younger students. In addition to the instructors listed below, the COSMOS academic experience is supported by numerous laboratory, library, and administrative staff members.
The following distinguished scientists and mathematicians will
be instructors for summer 2008.

Teacher Fellows
COSMOS has engaged local math or science high school teachers known
for their personal and professional achievements and the impact they
have on the academic development of their students. Each cluster has
an affiliated Teacher Fellow, whose experience working with young
students assists and supports the COSMOS faculty. While providing
instructional support, Teacher Fellows also deepen their own knowledge
and experience through working with university instructors and resources.
Please contact us if you are interested in participating in the COSMOS Teacher Fellow program.
